I will admit, I began writing this article three different times with three different intros. The first time I began writing it was on the way home from a two week long work trip / road trip. I was exhausted (literally chewing caffeine gum) but so thankful for the amazing experiences. The second was around 11PM on Christmas night, when I realized the new year would be happening in a week and I really needed to start reflecting on the past year. Both intros mentioned that at the end of 2016 I was depressed, anxious, and lonely, was struggling to pay the bills, and had no idea what I was doing with my life.
It was the night before Christmas, and up in Laura’s room
Her clothes were all scattered
All over the ground!
She couldn’t find the perfect outfit
She needed a fix
So trekked to the thrift store
To find the perfect Christmas day fit!
Switching over to the Diva cup is one of the best decisions I’ve made. There are some huge advantages to making the switch, including saving major cash on feminine products every month and lightening my carbon footprint. Still, it wasn’t always smooth sailing. So here is everything I wish someone had told me when I first got the Diva Cup.
We know we all have that one friend (or maybe that friend is YOU) that cares about the world so much. Animal rights? check. Eco-friendly? check. Feminist? Check and check. Honestly though, you should all be checking these.
