One of my favourite aspects of Daisy Jar are these amazing monthly mood boards. I love being able to reflect on what themes each month brings to us women, both internally and externally. Today, of course, is the First of May and besides the influx of Justin Timberlake “It’s Gonna Be May” memes I’m sure we’ve all be bombarded with, this month brings with it some more important things.
If you’re ever looking for me, you can usually find me curled up on the couch with my nose in a book. Reading is what I do best, and it’s something that makes me really happy. I also like anything that helps to make my reading time more fun, which is why I am so grateful I got to try four lovely bookmarks from Emilie’s shop: Create Explore Read.
When I first got asked to write a piece on post-grad life, I felt both honored and humbled. I was also unsure of how I would put into words my college career from start to finish. There had been highs and lows, tears and laughs, all-nighters, heartbreaks, tailgates, and lots of ramen (even as a senior).
Hi Daisy Gals (and guys if you’re reading)!
Today marks the final semester of my senior year of college…what?! Unfortunately/fortunately (I can’t really decide if it’s good or bad), I still have another semester as a so-called “super senior” because I got behind on credits when I changed my major. I’m a little bummed I won’t be graduating on time, but I’m also grateful that I have a little extra time to figure out what I’m doing after graduation. Anyways! Enough about that. Let’s talk coffee, because it’s necessary for the beginning of the semester!
